Lloyd Pereira is a Melbourne based photographic artist and scientist who is passionate about engaging the natural world and science in his art practice. In 2016 he completed an Advanced Diploma in Photography at Photography Studies College, Melbourne.

Identity, time, transformation and impermanence lie at the centre of his practice.

Using the interplay between light and shadow his images explore the physical matter of the natural world and transform it into a photographic examination of what we are. His images seek to guide us towards a greater empathy for the living world and ourselves.
